BOSTON, MA - March 11, 2014 - The 53-year-old Callahan Tunnel was closed shortly after Christmas 2013 for a multi-million dollar renovation project. The floor had badly deteriorated, and after a wall panel fell in 2012, many more were soon discovered to be defective. Because the main thruway to East Boston and Logan International Airport carries 30,000 cars a day, many drivers and area businesses were concerned a three month closure would cause massive traffic problems and delays.

CITY OF TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA - As part of the 86,000 square foot Georgetown South Project, Bridge Tite Group, an Approved Applicator of Bridge Preservation LLC. installed the BDM spray applied tunnel waterproofing membrane on the top of the Metrolinx Weston Tunnel, which travels under King Street carrying the GO tracks.

The Utah Transit Authority is the recipient of AREMA’s 2013 W. W. Hay Award for the their FrontRunner South Commuter Rail Line.

A patented bridge expansion joint system combined with cold spray applied waterproofing and bridge deck membrane helped to overcome major bridge leak during the FrontRunner project.  LANHAM, MD - November 2013 - AREMA’s 2013 Dr. William W. Hay Award for Excellence was awarded to the Utah Transit Authority for their FrontRunner South Commuter Rail Line. The Dr. William W. Hay Award for Excellence was established by the The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) Board of Directors to recognize outstanding achievements in railway engineering. The purpose of the award is to honor innovative railway engineering procedures, projects and products and the individual(s) who have created and successfully applied them to the railroad industry.

DENVER, COLORADO - Eagle P3 is a public-private partnership comprised of three (3) Rail Lines and a Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility owned and operated by the Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) and uses spray applied waterproofing membranes to protect their bridges.
